FAQ

All three are trick-taking games, but each has its own character:

Ladybug (3-4 players, 15-30 min): two-colour cards, and bets on the cards you think will win.

APEX (1-6 players, 15-30 min): Swiss Jass streamlined, with eleven variants from solo to six players. It is the only one of the three you can play alone, with 5 or with 6.

Button (2-4 players, 30-40 min): four tricks open at once, and tied suits that hand the win to the weakest card.

Orders are shipped from Switzerland, worldwide. Shipping fees vary depending on the destination and are communicated by email before confirming the order. It is a personalised service, tailored to each request.

In case of non-delivery or major damage, I am open to a refund or a replacement. As this is a very small structure, customers are expected to accept minor cosmetic defects. Please contact me by email if there is a problem.

Payments are currently handled via PayPal, simple and international.

Each game is sold at a base price covering production costs. Shipping fees are listed separately and vary depending on destination.

Production costs are invoiced in US dollars. On each game's page, the base price is converted into Swiss francs at the rate shown, with a full breakdown of costs.

You may optionally add a development contribution. This voluntary support helps create new games, fund travel and events, send copies to the press, and pay for artistic collaborations. Contributions of time or visibility are also welcomed.

Rules are available as a PDF download directly on each game's page. Player discussions and logged plays can be found on BoardGameGeek (BGG).

Shilipash Studio is a solo project, carried out at a slow pace. The aim is not mass production, but small and carefully produced print runs, given time to mature. One game a year is the ambition.

I would be delighted to discuss with any shop interested in carrying my games. We could consider together how to integrate the free pricing model (low retail price covering your fees + option to support my work via PayPal?).

I would be glad to collaborate with illustrators, authors, or other creatives. If you are interested, please contact me through the form or by email.
